Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of relevant driving or logistics experience preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Ability to pass federal and state background checks, drug and alcohol tests
- Physical capability to perform medium work including lifting and repetitive motions
- Availability to work specified shifts including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compliance with Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Job Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Good interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Generally prefer 2-4 years of experience
- Ability to perform medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to spend significant time standing, walking, reaching, pulling, and repetitive motions
Job Duties
- Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks
- Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper’s calculations
- Sort outbound freight between overnight and second-day and load ULD and trucks
- Deliver freight to customer location using company vehicles
- Recover freight from customer location using company vehicles
- Meet all Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers
- Adhere to Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
