Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with diverse stakeholders
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests
- Compliance with company health and safety policies regarding communicable diseases
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
- Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination and PPE use as required
Job Duties
- Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments
- Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off community vehicles
- Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles
- Comply with standards and processes for proper vehicle inspection and driving
- Demonstrate safe driving in getting residents transported
- Act as a member of the activity staff when on outings/excursions and within the community
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
