At LVHN, the Transportation Courier plays a vital role in the smooth logistical operations that support the overall healthcare delivery system. This position involves transporting a variety of important items such as medical supplies, packages, mail, and medical records to and from hospitals, physicians' offices, community medical centers, suppliers, and other designated locations within and potentially outside the network. Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- One year job-related experience
- Comfortable using a smartphone (iPhone or Android)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license at hire

- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license at hire
- Basic knowledge of the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area preferred
- Courier or mail experience preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
Job Duties
- Performs pick-ups and drop-offs of assigned items on daily assigned routes while operating vehicles in a safe manner
- Keeps a daily activity record indicating number of trips, destination, arrival/departure times, and the number of requests
- Acts as a floater for the logistics team providing as needed coverage for routes
- Maintains courier service vehicles by completing automotive inspections and operator maintenance, calling for repairs, and maintaining equipment logs
- Ensures transportation requests are prioritized and dispatched in accordance with established time lines
