Job Requirements
- A valid, regular Class A driver’s license
- knowledge of Southern California routes and cities
- clean and safe DMV driving record
- clean background check
- ability to operate material handling equipment
- ability to lift heavy products up to 80 lbs
- pass physical test
- at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED
- minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
- ability to operate a vehicle safely and in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies
- knowledge of Southern California routes and cities
- excellent customer interaction skills
- safe and courteous driving skills
- ability to operate material handling equipment
- ability to lift heavy products up to 80 lbs
Job Duties
- Operate a 53 ft. refrigerated delivery truck weighing up to 80,000 lbs. gross
- perform daily, on-time deliveries to customers throughout California
- clean and maintain delivery trucks (interior and exterior) daily
- maintain maintenance records and delivery log documentation
- perform pick-up and drop-off of product inventory
- safeguard truck, inventory, and payments
- perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle
- comply with state's vehicle code, along with all state and federal laws, regulations and all company policies and procedures
- exhibit professional behavior with both internal and external business associates
- conduct and complete any other duties requested
