Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Some college level science related classes or prior laboratory experience preferred
- Must be able to pass background, driving, and drug tests
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record for 3 years
- Maintain and complete mileage logs documenting each use of company-owned vehicle
- Perform and record daily and monthly vehicle inspections as required
- Comply with company dress policy for client service positions
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in heavy traffic
- Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with clients
- Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle glassware
- Must have average vision for reading reports and operating equipment
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
- Ability to stand for intervals of up to 2 hours while working
- Ability to drive for 3-4 hours a day without distractions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Some college level science related classes or prior laboratory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record for 3 years
- Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
- Detail oriented and able to closely follow laboratory procedures
- Organized and able to manage time commitments effectively
- Good typing and data entry skills
- Familiarity with general scientific terminology
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team
- Flexibility to meet client and laboratory scheduling needs
Job Duties
- Provide courier services via the company vans
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with the project management team and company clients
- Assist with client sample receipt at the lab
- Assist with sample login at the lab
- Assist with other client service activities as assigned by the site supervisor
- Maintain proper service on assigned company vehicle
- Assist with bottle preparation and shipping and sample management teams
- Assist with inventory control activities including receiving, supply ordering, stocking, and inventory auditing
- Perform other duties as assigned and directed
