Job Requirements
- No CDL or commercial drivers license needed
- Must be 18+ years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Must have any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver’s license number
- Social security number (only in the US)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of using a smartphone and mobile apps
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely
- Reliable access to a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Familiarity with local areas and routes beneficial, but not required
Job Duties
- Pick up food, grocery, or retail orders from merchants
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash app to manage orders and navigate routes
- Communicate effectively with customers and support team as needed
- Handle payments and cash out through the Dasher app
- Maintain a safe and clean delivery vehicle
- Follow local traffic and safety regulations
