Job Requirements
- No CDL or commercial drivers license needed
- Must be 18 years or older (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Have a social security number (only in the US)
- Consistent access to a smartphone to use the app
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with local areas for efficient navigation
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and safely
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage deliveries
- Maintain communication with customers and support when needed
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety guidelines
- Manage cash or digital payments when applicable
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
