Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- No commercial driver’s license required
- Valid driver’s license number
- Access to a reliable vehicle, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- Social security number (applicable for US residents)
- Consistent access to a smartphone compatible with the DoorDash app
- Ability to pass ID verification and eligibility checks
- 21 years or older for delivering alcohol
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology and navigation apps
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Dependability and self-motivation to work independently
- Familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns advantageous
Job Duties
- Pick up food, grocery, and retail orders from restaurants and stores
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and professionally
- Use the DoorDash app to manage order requests and navigation
- Ensure accuracy and quality of delivered items
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
