Job Requirements
- No commercial driver’s license needed
- must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- have a valid driver’s license number
- provide a social security number if applying in the US
- have consistent access to a smartphone
- ability to legally work in the US
- pass identity verification
- reside in a city where DoorDash services deliveries by your chosen mode of transport
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license or scooter/bicycle compliance where applicable
- reliable access to a car, scooter, or bicycle for deliveries
- ability to navigate using GPS and mobile devices
- good time management and organizational skills
- customer service experience is a plus
- basic smartphone proficiency
- strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- use the DoorDash Dasher app for navigation and order management
- maintain communication with customers and support for any delivery issues
- adhere to traffic rules and safety standards
- manage cash out and payments through the app
- provide excellent customer service during each delivery
