Job Requirements
- No commercial driver’s license needed
- at least 18 years of age (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- possession of any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- valid driver’s license number
- social security number (for US residents)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- successful completion of identity verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- familiarity with smartphone applications and GPS navigation
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle
- valid driver’s license for applicable vehicle
- ability to comply with local regulations
- minimum age of 18, 21 for alcohol delivery
- eligibility to work in the US with valid social security number if applicable
Job Duties
- Deliver meals to customers promptly and accurately
- pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, and retail outlets
- manage multiple types of deliveries including food, groceries, and convenience items
- utilize the DoorDash Dasher app to track and accept delivery requests
- communicate effectively with customers and support teams
- maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during deliveries
- handle payments using the DoorDash Crimson system
