Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- no commercial driver’s license required
- have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- valid driver’s license number
- social security number if in the US
- consistent access to a smartphone
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license or access to a bike or scooter
- smartphone capable of running the DoorDash Dasher app
- ability to pass background check and identity verification
- knowledge of local area and traffic laws
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- pick up food, groceries, or retail orders from assigned locations
- deliver orders safely and timely to customers
- maintain communication with customers through the app
- manage own schedule to dash when it works best
- handle payments and cash out earnings within the app
- follow all applicable traffic and safety laws
- use smartphone and app effectively to accept and complete delivery requests
