Job Requirements
- 18 years old or older
- Must have a valid driver's license number
- Social Security number required (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Able to legally work in the US
- In some states, 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- Transportation method such as car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Background check and identity verification clearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in delivery or customer service is a plus
- Basic knowledge of local geography and navigation
- Ability to use smartphone apps proficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation such as a car, scooter or bicycle (in select cities)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores or grocery outlets
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Manage order accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Use the DoorDash app to receive and navigate delivery hotspots
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during deliveries
- Handle payments and cash-out using the DoorDash Crimson Deposit Account
- Ensure compliance with all safety and delivery protocols
