Job Requirements
- 18 or older (21 or older for delivering alcohol in certain states)
- have a valid driver’s license or access to eligible vehicle
- provide social security number (for US applicants)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- pass background and ID verification
- comply with local laws and regulations for delivery
- reliable transportation and insurance if applicable
Job Qualifications
- minimum age of 18 years old (21 years old for alcohol delivery in some states)
- valid driver’s license or access to a scooter or bicycle in eligible cities
- consistent access to a smartphone to use the Dasher app
- knowledge of local streets and neighborhoods preferred
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests and pick up food or retail items from merchants
- deliver orders promptly to customers while following proper safety and handling procedures
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to navigate routes and update order statuses
- communicate effectively with customers and support teams if any issues arise
- manage your schedule and work hours independently
- cash out earnings through the app with instant payment options
- maintain a professional and courteous attitude during deliveries
