Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be able to read and communicate in English
- skilled in effectively communicating with guests to generate enthusiasm
- thorough understanding of food and drink menu items
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- able to follow company sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures
- capable of maintaining a clean and organized service station
- strong teamwork skills to promote a harmonious working environment
- experience with customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or unusual matters
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be reported to a manager
- make and deliver non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- ensure all drinks are properly garnished and delivered in a timely manner
- follow tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure accuracy
- assist in clearing dishes and glassware and refilling beverages
- assist in bussing and resetting tables
- restock and prepare supplies for shift change or close
- check back with guests after drink delivery to ensure satisfaction
- greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- maintain thorough understanding of menu items to answer guest questions
- work efficiently adhering to 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
- assist other team members as needed
- keep station clean and appropriately set up and take down tables
- assist in party set up and breakdown
- maintain favorable working relationships with team members to promote cooperative and harmonious work climate
- communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- comply with dress code and maintain neat, clean, professional appearance
- be able to read and communicate in English
- listen carefully to guests’ orders and communicate with guests and team members verbally
- maintain guest safety and service quality standards
