Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of all USADA certification and recertification requirements
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Gainesville, FL
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Ability to stand, bend and lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Availability to travel locally and nationally
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
  • For DCO II: National phlebotomy certification from specified accrediting bodies
  • Compliance with state-specific training requirements
  • Preferred experience of at least three years in phlebotomy
  • Able to pass bi-annual written and practical exams
  • Ability to use technology for communication and documentation

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination
  • For DCO II: National phlebotomy certification from accredited agencies meeting date requirements
  • Compliance with state-specific phlebotomy training requirements
  • Preferred three years phlebotomy experience
  • Additional advanced credential such as RN, NP, PA acceptable
  • CPT I & II California credentials acceptable

Job Duties

  • Conduct sample collection sessions in support of testing programs for Olympic, Paralympic, and Client Services testing teams
  • Accept, plan, and manage doping control assignments in accordance with WADA/International Standards and USADA criteria
  • Execute logistics aspects related to the doping control process to facilitate successful completion of missions
  • Conduct doping control including processing of samples per USADA protocols and WADA Code/International Standards
  • Recruit and onboard independent contractors to serve as chaperones when required
  • Witness or oversee sample collection process
  • Travel to various locations using the most economical routes to perform sample collections
  • Ensure accurate documentation and completion of the doping control process
  • Ship and submit processed samples to specified WADA-certified laboratory
  • Assist in onboarding and training new doping control officers
  • Maintain confidentiality and adherence to USADA policies
  • Provide witness testimony in legal cases related to doping control
  • Enforce infection control processes at all times
  • Schedule and manage travel and associated expense reports
  • Recommend updates to USADA doping control protocols as needed
  • Participate in continuing education and re-accreditation programs
