Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle telephone and interpersonal interactions
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to stress and unpredictable situations
  • Availability to work varied hours including days, evenings, holidays, weekends with rotating days off
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent or higher education is required
  • Previous hospital or clinical experience is preferred
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Requires good communication, telephone, and human relation skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record

Job Duties

  • Assist patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttle buses, or taxis
  • Establish and maintain pleasant and helpful relationships with patients and guests
  • Provide direction support and answer general questions
  • Keep patient loading zones clear
  • Transport patients, personal belongings, and selected medical devices
  • Call, record, and monitor taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles
  • Assist and support valet operations as directed
  • Sanitize equipment used to support patients
  • Assist with traffic control in drive-up lanes
  • Perform wheelchair recovery in various hospital and clinic locations
