Job Requirements

  • Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record
  • Availability to work varied hours including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Commitment to complete the limited tenure assignment

Job Duties

  • Assist patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttle buses, or taxis
  • Establish and maintain a pleasant and helpful relationship with patients and guests
  • Offer direction support, mobility assistance, and answer general questions
  • Keep patient loading zones clear
  • Transport patients, personal belongings, or selected medical devices
  • Call, record, and monitor taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles daily
  • Assist and support valet operations and sanitize equipment
  • Assist with traffic control in drive-up lanes
  • Recover wheelchairs across various hospital and campus locations
