Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, communication, professional writing, journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in donor engagement, fundraising, professional writing, database management, or event planning preferred
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours including mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Proficiency with computer software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and DocuSign
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge, ODDER, and ThankView highly desirable
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, communication, professional writing, journalism, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in donor engagement, fundraising, professional writing, database management, or event planning preferred
  • Advanced degree in related field preferred
  • Experience in higher education, academic settings, or nonprofit organizations preferred
  • Strong background in professional writing and correspondence
  • Experience creating and finalizing endowment reports
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed professional reports using multi-platform data

Job Duties

  • Manages and maintains accurate donor records across databases
  • Compiles, reconciles, and organizes donor data for projects and events
  • Creates high-quality donor communications including gift agreements and personalized letters
  • Plans and executes donor recognition events including invitations, vendor coordination, and budget management
  • Manages office supplies, resources, and budgets for PAE events and activities
  • Coordinates calendars, processes invoices, and maintains organized files
  • Performs other duties as assigned
