Job Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license and able to travel to assigned store locations 4-5 days per week
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with others as a team
- Ability to meet performance standards
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems
- Stand for long periods of time
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old or emancipated minor with documentation
- Work around high temperatures
- Work around others in close quarters
- Move throughout the restaurant and observe restaurant operations and team member work performance
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Work with various cleaning products
- Perform job at a continuous high pace, under pressure, while maintaining quality and speed standards
Job Qualifications
- 7-10 years previous restaurant experience
- 3-5 years in management positions preferably multi-unit restaurant experience including full-service, fast food or convenience
- Financial planning aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P and L management
Job Duties
- Ensure all team members in the district are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction
- Evaluate each restaurant’s QSC standards and provide regular feedback and coaching
- Communicate all customer comments and concerns to the appropriate restaurant manager and follow up to ensure they are handled timely and effectively
- Ensure all general managers and GMITs receive appropriate orientation, training, and development opportunities
- Train, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to motivate and improve team member performance
- Evaluate overall performance of general managers and GMITs based on communicated standards and expectations
- Provide appropriate and effective counseling and/or discipline
- Provide effective training and follow-up of new products, programs, and changes
- Actively recruit new general managers and GMITs, ensure team members are prepared for promotion and align management skills with restaurant needs
- Analyze business performance and initiate appropriate corrective actions for financial deviations
- Support company-wide marketing programs and evaluate local restaurant marketing strategies
- Ensure business and personnel practices comply with laws and company policies
- Serve as a role model and set a positive example in business and personnel management
- Negotiate vendor contracts for the districts and follow company approval processes
- Uphold food safety, handling, and sanitation standards for the health and safety of guests and team members
