Job Duties
- safely maneuver a 26 foot box truck to efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations
- plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure on time deliveries
- load and unload merchandise from the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques
- verify and confirm the accuracy of delivery orders with customers
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle
- maintain accurate records of deliveries including mileage fuel usage and delivery receipts
- communicate with the dispatch team and customers to provide updates on delivery status
- handle any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules and protocols
