Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in food preparation within the restaurant business preferred
  • must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length
  • able to lift items up to 40 pounds
  • able to follow written instructions
  • able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location

Job Duties

  • Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, flatware, utensils and kitchenware
  • maintaining proper storage and organization of dishes, flatware, utensils and kitchenware
  • complying with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • assisting team members with kitchen and food preparations
  • cleaning, preparing and packaging various foods for cooking and serving
  • clearing and resetting restaurant tables of dishware and trash and relocating to designated areas
  • keeping station neat and clean by using the clean as you go method
  • sweeping, wet mopping and/or brushing floors, as needed or directed by manager
  • other duties as assigned
