Job Requirements
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, push and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to withstand frequent exposure to high and low temperatures, smoke, and steam
- Frequent contact with sanitation solutions, latex gloves, and various food products including meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, dairy and produce
- Must frequently immerse hands in soap, cleaning chemicals and water
- Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment
Job Qualifications
- Some restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Possess strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a fun, high energy work environment
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
Job Duties
- Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Organize and stack clean dishes properly
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as needed
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned
