Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
  • Flexibility in work schedule required
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude under pressure
  • Ability to frequently walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel without restriction
  • Must be able to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to work different shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to work indoors and be exposed to smoke and environmental contaminants
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others
  • Maintain a positive and polite demeanor when interacting with guests
  • Ability to handle supplies safely while maintaining hygiene and cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
  • Flexibility in work schedule required
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to frequently move freely about the property, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction
  • Must be able to work different shifts, which may include holidays and weekends
  • Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental contaminants including smoke
  • Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned
  • Must be able to work with others, communicate well, receive direction, and provide feedback when needed to achieve department goals and objectives
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner
  • Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness
  • Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods
  • Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision and distance vision

Job Duties

  • The primary responsibility of the Dishwasher is to ensures back of house areas are maintained, and that health and safety are top priorities
  • All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Tribal Gaming Agency policies, practices, and procedures
  • Adhere to the Miccosukee Service Expectations and ensure team compliance
  • Clean F&B back of house areas
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen as needed
  • Fill out dish machine logs
  • Breakdown all food items from banquet functions and prepare soiled equipment to be washed
  • Clean and sanitize all small wares after banquet functions
  • Maintain garbage and empty as needed
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen coolers and discard out dated items
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times and to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • The Casino & Resort will function seven days a week, 24 hours a day
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to walk, stand and sit
  • The associate will occasionally be required to climb and use balance
  • Additionally, the team member will frequently be asked to use hands and arms carry and lift items
