Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
Job Duties
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area
- Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles regularly ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items
- Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas to dumpster area on a regular basis
- Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines to ensure proper supply levels for Food & Beverage Department operations
- Assist in storing grocery and supply items
- Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems and notify supervisor of malfunctions
- Assume responsibility for supplies for dish machine and notify supervisor of low product levels
- Assist cooks and Executive Chef in food preparation as needed
- Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations including ice displays
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
