Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to work part time Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
- Reliable transportation to Fairhaven School District
- Ability to comply with safety and sanitation protocols
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to work part time Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of sanitation standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Good team player
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or with a dishwashing machine ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth ensuring sanitation
- Ensures compliance with safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain sanitation
- Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers, steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Helps load and unload supplies and product
- Performs other duties as assigned
