Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency
  • Washington State Health Card (food worker card)
  • ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects
  • capability to perform repetitive movements daily with minimal sedentary work and occasional bending or crouching
  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • employment type full-time

Job Qualifications

  • Exceptional team communication skills
  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 to 3 months related experience or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience is adequate
  • must be 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Clean food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand, placing them in racks or within the dish machine
  • wash pots, pans, trays and other equipment from the kitchen
  • sweep and mop floors within the dish-pit area and assist with all kitchen areas when asked
  • wash and sanitize work area, occasionally cleaning kitchen equipment such as hotboxes, fridges, mixers or workstations such as food trucks
  • remove all localized trash and cardboard from designated kitchen areas and dispose of them throughout shift
  • occasionally assist in the set-up and breakdown of banquet events
  • use all dishwashing-related kitchen equipment following proper procedures and training
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines
  • work nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • adapt to duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations as needed
