Job Qualifications

- previous experience in hospitality or kitchen work is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing equipment depending on assignment
- washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures
- polishes silverware using machines or by hand
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels
- keeps dish area orderly and safe
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- helps load and unload supplies
- performs other assigned duties
