Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Up to one-month related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Communication and customer service skills
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow written and oral directions

Job Duties
- Scrapes/rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all outlined safety procedures, including use of cut gloves when handling and cleaning knives
- Maintain and track temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Let supervisor know in a timely manner if levels are off
- Clean and maintain dish area in an orderly manner to include mats, clear walkway and in compliance with all other safety standards
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surface as assigned
- Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers
- Steam clean or hose out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards
- May assist with loading or unloading supplies and product
- Perform other functions and duties as assigned
