Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read and understand written instructions
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Physical ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and dependability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience is required
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read two and three syllable words
- Recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain dish machine
- Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
- Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- Receive and store all orders properly
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Assist different departments and team mates other than primary job code as needed
- Work on special projects or assist with other work necessary for operations as directed
- Adapt to job duty changes or additional job responsibilities in other positions as assigned
