Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Current California Food Handlers Card
Ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Physical ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds
Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong work ethic and dependability

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience is required
Current California Food Handlers Card
Ability to read two and three syllable words
Recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Operate and maintain dish machine
Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
Receive and store all orders properly
Assist in food preparation as needed
Assist different departments and team mates other than primary job code as needed
Work on special projects or assist with other work necessary for operations as directed
Adapt to job duty changes or additional job responsibilities in other positions as assigned
