Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age
  • U.S. work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • Some previous kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory
  • must be 16 years of age

Job Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes in a timely fashion as they enter the dish room
  • soak and scrub dishes that require heavy cleaning
  • remain focused on designated tasks during prime service hours
  • assist other stations by prepping and getting ready when your station is ready for service
  • keep your workstation clean and organized
  • practice safe knife handling if training is needed consult the Chef
  • scrape, sort and load dishwasher
  • return all cleaned dishes and glassware to proper locations
  • perform basic preventative maintenance of dishwashing equipment and report issues to Sous Chef and Executive Chef
  • remove trash as needed
  • perform food preparation duties as assigned by Sous or Executive Chef
  • look for ways to be productive when time allows
  • open and close the kitchen properly following the opening and closing checklists
  • assist others when closing the kitchen and do not leave until inspected by manager
  • arrive promptly and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts
  • follow all policies in the employee handbook
  • perform other duties as assigned
