Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 months related experience or training
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read two and three syllable words
- Recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
- Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain dish machine
- Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out
- Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- Receive and store all orders properly
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Work across multiple departments and assist with special projects as assigned
