Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is helpful
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- ability to lift moderate weights safely
- must follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- must be reliable and punctual
- good communication skills

- Ability to provide professional and courteous guest service
- good time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

- experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Assist all guests in a professional and courteous manner
- perform job duties and responsibilities cost effectively within budgetary guidelines
- load, run and unload the dish machine and keep it clean
- report any functional or mechanical problems promptly to management
- monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycles
- wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
- maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen use
- handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster as needed
- clean food preparation and production areas as needed
- assist kitchen staff as necessary to ensure efficient kitchen operation
- maintain a clean, organized and appropriately stocked work area
- thoroughly complete any assigned set-up, side work or closing duties
- communicate with management and associates through daily communication and attend required meetings
- understand and apply all facility safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
- keep supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- perform all other duties as assigned
