Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is an asset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate commercial dishwashing machines, ensuring proper temperatures and chemical levels
  • Keep the dish area, sinks, floors, and nearby kitchen spaces clean and organized
  • Restock clean plates, silverware, and smallwares to kitchen and service stations
  • Remove trash and manage soiled linen according to restaurant procedures
  • Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Assist kitchen and service staff as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
