Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1-3 months related experience or training
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read and understand basic English
- Physical ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel and crouch as required
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Commitment to safety and hygiene protocols
- Dependability and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read two and three syllable words
- Recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain dish machine
- Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out
- Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- Receive and store all orders properly
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Work in multiple departments as assigned
- Work on special projects or other operations tasks as directed
- Adapt to altered job duties or additional responsibilities
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
