Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the age of hire unless otherwise required by state law
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Provide exceptional service and maintain a positive attitude throughout the entire shift
  • Support other back of house functions as needed ensuring that all areas of the restaurant run smoothly is a shared responsibility among the team
  • Communicate positively with other team members and management to ensure smooth operations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under pressure
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Positive team player attitude

Job Duties

  • Arrive on time in full uniform and ready to work
  • Work directly with team members to ensure all needs are met in a timely manner
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures and ensure sanitation of work areas complying with food handling requirements
  • Work closely with team members to ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed according to company standards
  • Collect bus tubs and dirty dishes from both front of house and back of house areas
  • Ensure a steady supply of clean dishes glassware and utensils for cooks servers and bartenders
  • Re-stock areas for easy access by other staff members
  • Provide support to cooks as needed including occasional station assignments
  • Communicate with fellow team members and management to stay informed and ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas including sweeping and mopping when necessary
  • Assist with overall kitchen cleanliness including taking out trash
  • Complete running and end-of-shift side work ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next dishwasher
  • Notify management immediately of any potential problems or issues
