Job Requirements
- One-year minimum experience in a catering or restaurant environment
- Must be comfortable standing long hours and lifting up to 40 pounds as well as team lifting up to 60 pounds
- Submission of satisfactory proof of your identity and your legal authorization to work in the United States
- Familiarity with sanitation and safety policies
- Ability to report sanitation or janitorial issues to management
Job Qualifications
- Kitchen professionalism
- Possess a positive attitude
- Organized fast and efficient
- Able to read and communicate in English
- Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
- Food Handler's Certificate required
Job Duties
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen such as coffee makers pots and pans mixers etc
- Cleaning a large number of dishes from catered events and kitchen prep
- Loading/unloading and storing deliveries and catering vans
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
- Commitment to all-around cleanliness including dishwashing and dish storage areas
- Willingness to follow sanitation and safety policies at all times
