Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- General knowledge of commercial dishwashing preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period
- Strong menu knowledge
- Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
- Exceptional teamwork skills
- Dependability
Job Duties
- Keep the dish tank area maintained and ensure clean dishes are available for service
- Follow food safety guidelines for washing, drying, and storing dishware and utensils
- Remove cardboard and grease and maintain cleanliness of the parking lot
- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant property including foyer, front porch, and sidewalks
- Empty trash from designated areas throughout the shift
- Work with other staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction regarding dining room cleanliness
- Assist in other job categories as assigned
- Perform all other duties as assigned
