Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation is a plus
Basic knowledge of dish machine operations
Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic

Job Duties

Maintain a guest focus and a positive attitude
Communicates clearly
Knowledge of basic dish machine operations
Assumes 100 percent responsibility for cleanliness of dishes, glassware tableware, pans, utensils, etc.
Lift, place, and then remove loaded racks of dishes, glassware, etc., into and from dish machine
Wash pots, pans and trays by hand when necessary
Remove and empty loaded trash cans into proper receptacle
Clean floors at end of night
Comply with all company guidelines regarding food safety and personal safety
Maintains a clean, sanitary workstation to include tables, shelves, floors, equipment, etc.
Completes required tasks within assigned time frames
Assists in other areas of facility performing maintenance, cleanliness, etc. as assigned
Follows all opening/closing procedures for dish area as assigned
Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
