Job Duties

Keeps dish, trash, and floors areas clean and organized to high health and kitchen standards
Maintains dish machine including checking and refilling chemical levels
Understands how to operate dish machine properly
Reports any equipment malfunctions to Manager or Executive Chef
Keeps chemical testers readily available
Uses sanitizing materials correctly for cleaning
Checks trash regularly and removes when full
Organizes dish area with solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silverware
Maintains pace for washing pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware
Handles breakables like dishes and glassware with caution
Keeps floors free from spills, grease, and trash
Assists with kitchen preparation and cleaning tasks as needed
Maintains professional relationships with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Adheres to all health and sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus and regulatory bodies
