Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read two and three syllable words
  • Recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

  • Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dish machine
  • Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
  • Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • Receive and store all orders properly
  • Assist in food preparation as needed
  • Perform special projects or assist with other work as directed
