Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information individually and in small groups
  • ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
  • physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell regularly
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to stand and walk on various floor surfaces in wet or dry conditions
  • ability to walk stairs and ramps carrying items
  • willingness to follow drug, alcohol, and smoking policies

Job Duties

  • Clean, sanitize, and organize all restaurant plateware, glassware, and silverware
  • clean, sanitize, and organize all kitchen cookware, utensils, and storage containers
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen including floors, storage areas, back dock, and dish station
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant exterior including parking lot, landscaping, and dumpster area
  • adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
  • monitor and ensure quality of work
  • complete work tasks in a timely manner
