Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience helpful
- ability to stand for long periods
- able to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, and mid-day
- physical ability to lift and move dish racks and kitchen ware
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards

Job Duties
- Washing and catching dishes/silverware through dish machine
- keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems
- monitor dish machine water temperature/chemical level to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
- keep dish room, rest rooms, and food preparation areas clean and organized
- maintain adequate levels of clean tableware/plateware for dining room and kitchen
- monitor linen and trash containers and empty when appropriate
- understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures
- wash metal pots and pans through 3 compartment sink by hand
- wash and lift glass racks with glass washer
- maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen including sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, and removal of trash
- receive deliveries and restock shelves
- be flexible during shift to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed
