Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including AM, PM and mid-day
  • Physical stamina to stand for long durations
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items when needed
  • Must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in dishwashing or similar role is beneficial
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time
  • Hard working and detail oriented with strong cleanliness standards
  • Ability to follow hygiene and food safety protocols
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Washing and catching dishes and silverware through dish machine
  • Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical level to ensure sanitary wash cycle
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
  • Keep dish room, rest rooms, and food preparation areas clean and organized
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware and plateware for dining room and kitchen
  • Monitor linen and trash containers and empty when appropriate
  • Understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures
  • Wash metal pots and pans by hand through a 3 compartment sink
  • Wash and lift glass racks with glass washer
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of kitchen by sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, removal of trash, and more
  • Receive deliveries and restock shelves
  • Be flexible during shift to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed
