Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including AM, PM and mid-day
- Physical stamina to stand for long durations
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when needed
- Must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in dishwashing or similar role is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Hard working and detail oriented with strong cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow hygiene and food safety protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Washing and catching dishes and silverware through dish machine
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems
- Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical level to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
- Keep dish room, rest rooms, and food preparation areas clean and organized
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware and plateware for dining room and kitchen
- Monitor linen and trash containers and empty when appropriate
- Understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures
- Wash metal pots and pans by hand through a 3 compartment sink
- Wash and lift glass racks with glass washer
- Ensure overall cleanliness of kitchen by sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, removal of trash, and more
- Receive deliveries and restock shelves
- Be flexible during shift to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed
