Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Relevant experience in hotel sales, convention services management, or food and beverage
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively
  • Multilingual ability preferred
  • Available to work full time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in hotel sales or related field
  • 2-year degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management or Business Administration with 4 years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management or Business Administration with 2 years experience
  • Multilingual ability preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement business plan with effective strategies through team leadership
  • Direct sales activities and community outreach
  • Manage integrated marketing and revenue management
  • Oversee solicitation, response, and negotiation efforts of the sales team
  • Supervise rate, date, and space commitments for group, banquet, and catering customers
  • Develop and manage all negotiated rates and accounts
  • Maximize total hotel revenues including rooms, food and beverage, and other ancillary services
