Job Requirements
- experience working within a Marriott branded hotel or equivalent luxury lifestyle brand
- bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum 5 years in hospitality related rooms leadership
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ability to work independently and under pressure
- ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- ability to travel occasionally
- availability for long hours when required
Job Qualifications
- experience working in a Marriott or similar luxury lifestyle brand hotel
- bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum 5 years in hospitality rooms leadership
- excellent customer service skills
- strong verbal and written communication
- ability to present information effectively
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- knowledge of Marriott systems is a plus
Job Duties
- maintain compliance with company core values
- maintain regular attendance and professional appearance
- comply with safety and operational standards
- champion guest satisfaction efforts and monitor feedback
- review and implement departmental procedures
- prepare team schedules and manage payroll budgets
- oversee procurement for rooms division
- maintain inspection processes for cleanliness and condition
- ensure proper inventory and supply levels
- conduct disciplinary inventories as required
- uphold property loss prevention standards
- ensure guest privacy and security
- serve as senior contact for escalated guest issues
- maintain preventive maintenance processes
- participate in Manager on Duty coverage
- motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline personnel
- monitor and submit work orders
- promote communication across departments
- respond to emergency situations as per safety protocols
- maintain lost and found procedures
- prepare and submit timely operational reports
- maximize no-show revenue
- complete ten day forecasts
- follow up on financial discrepancies
- operate all aspects of rooms division
