Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or related field
  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, project management, or food service management
  • Active practicing Catholic in full communion with the Catholic Church
  • Commitment to the mission of the Church and full assent to magisterial teaching
  • Successful completion of Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis safe environment training
  • Consent and successful completion of background screening
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple operational areas
  • Strong strategic planning and resource management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or related field
  • Five to seven years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, project management, or food service management
  • Master's degree in business administration, facilities management, organizational leadership, or related field preferred
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, PMP preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic operations in higher education, seminary, religious, or mission-driven organizations preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

Job Duties

  • Lead comprehensive facilities strategy for the Seminary campus
  • Develop and execute the Seminary's Master Facilities Plan
  • Drive strategic vendor partnerships and manage enterprise-level facilities contracts
  • Establish facilities governance frameworks including capital planning and asset management
  • Build and lead operations team focused on facilities management and stakeholder engagement
  • Serve as primary liaison with University facilities management
  • Architect and advance campus operations framework ensuring mission-aligned experiences
  • Lead cross-functional operations strategy encompassing hospitality, access management, event execution, and parking
  • Partner with University departments to leverage resources and ensure cohesive service delivery
  • Develop protocols balancing hospitality with safety
  • Champion continuous improvement in operations through data and feedback
  • Direct dining services strategy across multiple facilities fostering hospitality and community
  • Lead dining services team cultivating service excellence
  • Manage dining services budget, cost optimization, and quality assurance
  • Drive innovation in dining programs and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Lead technology strategy in partnership with University ITS ensuring operational effectiveness
  • Serve as strategic technology advisor translating priorities into technology requirements
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives enhancing efficiency and service
  • Establish IT governance practices ensuring security and compliance
  • Provide strategic operational advice to Seminary leadership and Board
  • Lead operational components of institutional strategic planning
  • Partner in developing policies and assessing organizational effectiveness
  • Represent operations on executive leadership team contributing to decision-making
  • Champion organizational excellence identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency
