Job Requirements
- High school diploma or higher
- Must have US Customs Brokerage License
- Minimum ten years related experience in US Customs Brokerage
- Minimum five years managerial experience
- Ability to work on-site with regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to meet physical requirements including talking, hearing, operating computer equipment, and ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
- Must successfully pass E-Verify check
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Transportation, Finance, or related discipline preferred
- Minimum ten years industry-related experience in US Customs Brokerage
- Minimum five years managerial experience required
- Extensive client service skills
- Thorough knowledge of Customs Brokerage principles
- Proficient in Customs Brokerage software systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 365
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage P&L, budget, and operational priorities
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Direct Brokerage operations to ensure service standards are met or exceeded
- Maximize profitability through superior client service and effective communication
- Manage communications and follow-up with Customs and stakeholders
- Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules adjusting as needed
- Manage revenue and expenses within budget
- Train, develop and motivate employees for peak performance
- Conduct audits of Brokerage sites in compliance with C-TPAT and Customs guidelines
- Oversee and direct performance management of Brokerage staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
