Job Requirements
- must have 7 to 10 years experience in general aviation maintenance operations including Part 135 or equivalent
- must have knowledge and maintain current file of all applicable FARs
- must have experience setting standards and operational guidelines
- must hold current FAA issued Airframe and Powerplant certificate with no violations
- must be able to meet all FAA requirements and approval for Director of Maintenance designation
- must have experience with aircraft management record keeping programs including CAMP
- must be familiar with requirements of 14 CFR Part 135 and Part 91
- must be able to interface and communicate well with customers, vendors, team members, flight crews, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations
- must report daily to Kenosha, WI headquarters
- subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
- must pass background check
- must have authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years experience in general aviation maintenance operations including Part 135 or equivalent

- strong communication skills interfacing with customers, vendors, team members, flight crews, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations
Job Duties
- Represent aviation advisor internally and externally with industry groups and regulatory bodies
- provide technical support on various tasks
- lead development, communication, and implementation of procedures, policies, and growth strategies for the department
- establish and maintain positive working relationships as a liaison between company, clients, and the FAA
- ensure department is properly staffed, managed, organized, trained, and directed according to internal and FAA regulations
- promote a healthy culture that benefits employee engagement, customer loyalty, safety, integrity, and overall excellence
- manage all record keeping and auditing requirements including maintenance and disposition of records and signing of Operations Specifications
- oversee inspections, repairs, component changes, and accompanying documentation in compliance with FAA procedures and regulations
- review work orders and supervise jobs in progress monitoring proper sign-offs
- manage aircraft, tooling, equipment, materials, inventory, and activities within hangar and ramp
- plan and prepare maintenance or repair estimates determining scope of work and personnel required
- maintain all necessary records and logbooks certifying aircraft approval and return to service
- act as primary contact with flight crews on maintenance discrepancies including understanding of MEL and write-up processes
- coordinate with Director of Operations on communication and correction of mechanical repairs and planned maintenance around scheduled flights
- provide Director of Operations with current airworthiness status and forecast downtimes to facilitate maintenance scheduling
