Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage management
- Proven leadership experience in a full-service hotel environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with inventory and POS systems
- Certification or willingness to obtain TABC and Food Handler certifications
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a full-service hotel environment
- Experience managing restaurant and banquet operations
- Hilton or branded hotel experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service, hospitality standards, and guest service excellence
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, handle employee relations, and foster a positive workplace culture
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of inventory systems, POS systems (Micros or similar), and Microsoft Office Suite
- TABC and Food Handler certifications required (or ability to obtain)
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Supervise and lead all front-of-house food and beverage operations including restaurant, bar/lounge, in-room dining, and banquet service
- Partner with the Executive Chef to align food and beverage service with culinary goals, menus, and operational needs
- Train, mentor, schedule, and manage F&B service staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting Hilton brand standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback, social reviews, and on-the-floor presence
- address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with inventory management, purchasing, and cost controls for beverages, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws and policies
- Collaborate with sales and banquet teams to support event execution and F&B service standards for meetings, weddings, and other functions
- Assist in the development of departmental budgets and monitor financial performance
- identify opportunities to maximize revenue and control costs
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor to support staff and ensure smooth operations during service periods
- Uphold DoubleTree and Hilton brand culture, values, and service commitment
