Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
  • 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in restaurant finance, ideally supporting multi-unit operations
  • Proven experience partnering with field operators and driving unit-level performance
  • Exceptional financial modeling, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior executives and field leaders
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with operations, FP&A, and technology teams
  • Highly proficient in Excel and BI tools
  • Planning systems a plus
  • Partnership mentality
  • Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods and participate in meetings with various stakeholders
  • Occasional travel may be required

Job Duties

  • Lead efforts to forecast restaurant sales, labor, and controllable line items
  • Partner with restaurant leaders to co-own P&L
  • Serve as business partner to help improve margins and manage top and bottom line growth
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and IT to support initiatives with financial analysis and guidance
  • Develop financial KPIs and dashboards
  • Drive unit-level P&L ownership by translating financial insights into actionable guidance at the store level
  • Support labor scheduling, modeling, and planning
  • Build tools and processes to help restaurants optimize labor costs
  • Define and implement productivity initiatives to reduce cost of labor
  • Build capability in restaurant leaders and RSC teams on managing restaurant P&L and all controllable line items
  • Lead pacesetter exercises and provide field with P&L visibility to help benchmark performance
